This year’s Annual Meeting will be held at the beautiful Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Florida. Our CLE will be specific to the practice of civil defense in Georgia. Our golf and tennis tournaments, children's and spouses' activities and annual dinner and dance round out a great weekend of education, networking, relaxation and family fun.

The Law Journal is published each year and contains articles on trends and legal updates by lawyers practicing in the state of Georgia (on CD-ROM and printer-friendly pdf formats).

Trial Academy
Each year, the GDLA hosts an intensive, three-day Trial Academy for young lawyers covering a variety of trial techniques. Attendees watch and learn from experienced peers, then it's their turn to present what they've learned. Social activities and networking round out the event.

Active YL Section
The GDLA is expanding its YL section, offering younger lawyers an opportunity to get published, find a mentor, network with seasoned defense attorneys and judges at members-only events and attend great CLE seminars like our Skits & Suds and Deposition Boot Camp
