GDLA Membership: Dues Structure

DUES LEVELS

The membership year runs July 1 to June 30 annually. Dues are as follows:

• Admitted to your first bar after July 2, 2006 -- $125
• Admitted to your first bar before July 1, 2006 -- $200
• Members over age 65 with 10 years of membership in GDLA -- $125

DUES SCHEDULE

Below is the dues schedule, including prorated amounts depending on the time your application is submitted. Please consult the online calendar to see the next Board Meeting date, during which your application will be considered, to discern the amount owed when making your application.

• Applications received prior to Summer Board Meeting each June -- Full dues ($200/$125)
• Applications received prior to Fall Board Meeting each October -- Full dues ($200/$125)
• Applications received prior to Winter Board Meeting each February -- Half dues ($100/$62.50)
• Applications received prior to Spring Board Meeting each April -- One-quarter dues ($50/$31.25)

APPLICATION FEE

There is a $100 one-time membership application fee for all prospective members who were admitted to their first bar before July 1, 2006. The $100 application fee is waived for prospective members who were admitted to their first bar after July 2, 2006.

PAYMENT

Review the Board Meeting schedule here then see the fee schedule above to compute the amount owed -- whether full, half or one-quarter dues depending on timing of application. (for example, applications received prior to the Winter Board meeting in February owe half dues). Remember to include the $100 application fee if you were admitted to your first bar before July 1, 2006. Applications and check payable to GDLA should be mailed to the Admissions Committee Chair below. Upon approval for membership, you will be notified.
